C Major in the A position starts on your second finger and after a bit of practice becomes a really fast scale that flows from all 4 fingers.  Go to lesson.

C Scale - E position

Moving to different positions

C Major in the E position moves right up the fretboard giving you options for lead riffs higher on the neck.  Go to lesson.

Am Scale - 2 Octave Descending

Creating stunning descending runs

Creating a good descending run is so satisfying. Getting a quick flow going then dropping into the bass notes to finish will give you chills. Go to lesson.

Am Scale - Pentatonic 2 Octave

Changing up our scales

The pentatonic is so versitile that you can use it accross multiple genres of music. This version starts to show how you can find different patterns of the notes to create unique runs. Go to lesson.

Open Em Scale - 2 Octave

Full coverage

The second octave of the Open Em gives you the full set of strings to play with at the top of the guitar. This opens up riffs that can be played between chords. Go to lesson.

Open Am – 2 Octave Ascending and Descending

Starting to flow on the guitar

This is where we start to get some fluid movement on the guitar neck. Practice in 8th notes to build up your confidence moving up and down. Go to lesson.

Am Scale - A Position - 2 Octave

Moving up the neck

Starting up on the 12th fret gets you playing your Am Scale right up into the 3rd octave. This makes the frets very close and the strings easy to push down – and fast! Go to lesson.

Am Scale - E Position

6 strings of Am

Possibly my favourite scale. This is one that you can get fast! Also once mastered it moves anywhere on the neck for a different key center and great lead guitar. Go to lesson.
