Hammer-on

The hammer-on is a technique where you quickly tap your finger down on to the fret where you want to hit a note. This guitar lesson gives you a new tool that allows you to hit more than one note per pick. Chained together with pull-off’s this is an amazing technique that gets you super fast. It can be used in all styles of guitar and isn’t just limited to lead guitar. Try this with scales and then tie it in with pull-offs to get an amazing run going. Or just hit a couple of notes then a chord. Get creative. This lessons support can be found at https://7minutemusic.com/technique/level-2/hammer-on/. Try it over a backing track. Also if you missed it the pull-off lesson is here https://7minutemusic.com/technique/level-2/pull-off/.
