Open Am Ascending and Descending
In this guitar lesson we start putting our scales together into a format that you will practice. If you are not comfy with 8th notes check it out here https://7minutemusic.com/time/level-2/1-8-notes/. What we are looking to do is run our scale up (ascend) and then back down (descend). You really want to get this flowing with your notes evenly spaced. This is setting you up to do you ascending runs to lift a piece of music then let it descend to darken it. Get in and start practicing. The support material is at https://7minutemusic.com/scale/level-2/open-am-ascending-and-descending/ and a good follow up is the E minor ascending and descending – https://7minutemusic.com/scale/level-2/open-em-ascending-and-descending/.
