Why use 7 minute music?

7 minute music is developed to be easy to access and understand without stripping back music to numbers on a page. You engage with one concept at a time which allows to you learn easily and focus on one task. You then get to choose what you do next  – not like set programs or other video lessons. Just keep adding skills from each lesson together and you will see yourself improve quickly.

What we don’t do?

So we don’t do tab and we don’t do cover songs. Smashing out tab and songs will get you there in the long run but if you want to become a real musician you need to learn how it all works. By developing skills and your own style you will become an original artist and write you own songs. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t learn songs, but when you understand the skills behind it you will get a lot more from them that just being able to repeat it.

Where do I start?

7 minute music is set up in 6 levels and 5 categories. If you dive straight into a level 6 the first time you pick up the guitar it will be difficult to understand. So kick off with the level 1 lessons and smash through them to get the basics. If you are really enjoying a lesson though you can move up to linked lessons that expand on the concept in higher levels. It is your choice so get lost in the learning – choose whatever lessons you want.
